The Central Texas African American Family Support Conference 2010 Online Registration Now Open!
Last year, over 550 conference attendees, volunteers, workshop presenters and keynote speakers from across the nation gathered for this two-day event hosted by Austin Travis County Integral Care (ATCIC), ATCMHMR's new brand. Celebrating it's tenth anniversary, the CTAAFSC conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Austin on Thursday, Feb. 11 and Friday, Feb. 12, 2010. The CTAAFSC theme, Beyond the Illness: The Voice of One the Power of Many features a long list of past presenters, current topics and two national keynote speakers. Jennifer Ayers Moore, will speak about her family's experience with schizophrenia and Nancy Carter, Executive Director of National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) Urban Los Angeles.  

Barbara Fountain will be presenting a workshop on 21st Century Parenting for the African American Parent for CTAAFSC and Conference on the Prevention of Child Abuse.
